OLS E1: Star Wars XvT Balance of Power Attack on Imperial Shipyard A-Wing Rogue Pov Hard Difficulty

Notes: OLS Stands for Optimal Loadout series. This series will contain me completing all the missions in the game with what I believe is the best loadout for each mission without cheesing it, making it the easiest to complete. Note: There are a few missions where your craft already has the optimal loadout, or your loadout/craft are locked. This mission does not award points for completing it for some reason, I do not know why. Normally you get 10,000 points for beating a mission, but not this one. Explanation: With the Advanced Torpedo, you can one shot any fighter except the Assault Gunboat, which you can kill with two Torpedoes, but it is better to laser them down. You can also use the B-Wing to cheese the mission, simply disabling all craft as necessary, but I I prefer not to disable craft to beat a mission unless absolutely necessary. Walkthrough: Have all allies wait for orders, then kill the first three fighters attacking you without Torpedoes if possible, then destroy the remaining ones attacking your allies. Fly your first craft back with the other parked ones, then have it wait. This prevents you from being attacked by all the new enemy craft. Switch to other fighter, kill more enemies, until out of Torpedoes, then hyper out with both craft. Once your new wave of craft arrives, have your allies begin to attack the enemy, then continue with your attack on the enemy fighters. Between all your waves you have 60 Torpedoes, which will easily give you enough to clear all 44 enemy fighters, even if you use Torpedoes on the Gunboats. I had enough waves and Torpedoes left over I was able to get some capital ship kills; if you have enough allies left you can easily mop up the shipyard and the ISD, or do it on your own. I edited out the lasering down the shipyard part with the help from my allies. Cheese walkthrough: Destroy all but one of each of the following craft waves: Talon 1/2, Talon 3/4, Avenger 1/2/3, Avenger 4/5/6, Gamma 1/2/3, Gamma 4/5/6, then disable the remaining one. Disable all capital ships; this is easy since they are all at 0% shields with one exception, but that corvette you can fly behind and disable easily. Fly to the shipyard hangar, and have your allies destroy one disabled craft, then have them wait for orders. Hangar camp the new wave of fighters. Rinse and repeat until you have killed all the fighters. Destroy all capital ships, then the shipyard, and the ISD. Perhaps I will make a video showcasing this strategy at a future date.
