Tiny Yanmar 35 Should NOT Be Moving These Huge Boulders | Up To The Challenge or Impending Doom!?
Can a 3.5-ton excavator move boulders that weigh nearly as much as the machine itself? In this episode of Digging Deeper, we're back on the Colorado pond project dealing with road repairs, drainage issues, and some seriously massive boulders. After heavy rain softened the roads and threatened access to the site, it's time to improve drainage, protect culverts, reinforce parking areas, and build a safety barrier using enormous rocks. The challenge? We're doing it with a Yanmar 35 mini excavator that weighs only about 8,200 pounds. Watch as we:• Repair drainage and eliminate problem areas• Improve road conditions after repeated rain events• Move massive boulders with a compact excavator• Protect a dangerous drop-off with rock barriers• Reinforce culverts and parking lot edges• Continue work on one of our largest pond construction projects Some of these boulders are pushing the limits of what this machine can safely handle, making for a few tense moments and some impressive excavator work. If you enjoy excavation, heavy equipment, land clearing, drainage solutions, pond construction, road building, and real-world construction challenges, you're in the right place. #Excavator #Yanmar35 #Construction #HeavyEquipment #Drainage #RoadRepair #pondconstruction 00:00 Site Update & Today's Plan 00:48 Fixing Drainage Problems 04:02 Boulder Mania Begins 04:51 Can a Tiny Yanmar Handle These Rocks? 06:22 Why This Road Keeps Failing 08:28 First Massive Boulder Move 09:57 Success With the First Placement 11:00 "Watch This" Moment 12:38 Excavator Reaches Its Limits 16:35 Boulder Finally Secured 19:07 Protecting the Culvert 20:20 Building a Safety Barrier 21:31 Moving the Biggest Rocks 24:03 Timelapse Cleanup & Final Touches 24:59 Project Update & Pond Progress 25:30 Final Results 👕Check out our new merch line: https://diggin-deeper-merch.creator-s... 🔔 Subscribe for more content: Join our community for the latest reviews, tips, and industry insights! 👍 Like this video if you found it helpful, and share your thoughts in the comments below!
