This all started after Alizee was breastfeeding her second child; one-year-old daughter, Zaylee, during a family walk and Maya, 8, asked for some of her milk too. Alizee's ex partner and father to both children, Benjamin, thought this was a beautiful and natural moment, so decided to film Maya taking her mum's milk and they posted it on TikTok soon after. Alizee told Truly: "There's nothing wrong with breastfeeding my eight-year-old daughter. I was really grateful that she asked." Although Alizee and Benjamin thought this was a 'normal' and 'natural' thing, the internet world did not agree. Alize said: "I was not prepared at all for all the comments, such as: 'Who's this woman?', 'She's totally crazy'. Even sometimes it was directly to Maya." Despite the online hate the family have received, Alizee says she will continue to breastfeed her daughters for as long as they want to because there's 'nothing wrong' with what she is doing.
