With its narrative structure, dramatic dynamics and constant movement between delicacy, tension and sonic explosion, The Musical Box perfectly represents the most evocative and surreal side of early 1970s Genesis. The performance is taken from our concert at Teatro Al Convento on January 23rd, 2026, part of a show conceived as a musical and narrative journey through the contrast between light and shadow. In this context, the song naturally becomes part of the Solis Umbra journey: a live reinterpretation of classic progressive rock, shaped by storytelling, atmosphere and expressive intensity.
