The dangerous bridge in Kathiani, Machakos

Residents of Kathiani and Matungulu constituencies in Machakos county have lamented over the poor nature of an incomplete bridge that connects Kathiani market and Kakuyuni. The angry residents while speaking to journalists said the bridge which has taken more than six months to complete, is in a dilapidated state rendering it impassable and could be a death trap cutting off hundreds of people who depend on it to reach Kathiani town or Kakuyuni in Kangundo constituency to get services. The bridge, which connects the two constituencies, has made it hard for business people to transport their goods to various markets.
