🚴‍♂️ Velo Dunajec #2 | Nowy Targ – Tylmanowa | Lake Czorsztyn, Niedzica, Red Monastery, and the Dunajec River Gorge The second day of our Velo Dunajec trail trip and immediately one of the most beautiful sections of the entire route! We set off from Nowy Targ and head towards Tylmanowa. Along the way, we admire Lake Czorsztyn, the castles in Czorsztyn and Niedzica, visit the Slovak Red Monastery, and then ride through the picturesque Dunajec River Gorge in the heart of the Pieniny Mountains. This section is full of views, family bike trails, viewpoints, and the first substantial climbs. We also check out the cycling infrastructure around the lake, visit Slovakia, and discover why so many cyclists consider this section of the Velo Dunajec a must-see on every cycling trip.
