On the way, we stopped to meet our first sister’s family in Battambang, enjoyed durian, then another family joined us — suddenly it became a big family trip with 30+ people. We thought we were going straight to pick durian, but the first stop was a stream/waterfall party. After that, we visited a beautiful durian farm in Samlot, saw fresh durian fruits on the trees, bought several durians, went to another stream for more family time, returned to say goodbye, and finally headed to the Battambang bat cave. We thought we were already late, but the bats kept flying for hours.
