In our third episode of Encounters, we spoke with researcher Joaquín M. Chávez, PhD in Philosophy from New York University and Associate Professor of History at the University of Illinois at Chicago. With Professor Chávez, we discussed his book, *Poets and Prophets of the Resistance: Intellectuals and the Origins of the Salvadoran Civil War*, originally published by Oxford University Press.
