Maritime Masters| Episode Ten: Journey to the End of the World

With the Discovery Yacht’s journey coming to an end, Captain Erwan and Georgina navigate the Lemaire Channel. Their skill sets and the ship’s Azipods come into full effect during this navigational feat. Guests then paddleboard in the most spectacular of locations, while Chef Tom works on his Christmas surprise for guests, a model of the Scenic Eclipse ship made of gingerbread. Taking a moment by himself on a Zodiac, Jason reflects on Antarctica and the cruise season before thrill-seeking guests and crew members partake in an Antarctic tradition, the ‘polar plunge’. Jumping into the ice-cold waters, guests return to the ship with warm drinks at the ready. As the ship heads back to Ushuaia, Argentina, the Captain bids farewell before himself, Jason and Tom meet on Deck 5 to conclude the voyage and introduce Scenic Eclipse II, the new Discovery Yacht which will set sail in April, 2023.
