Here's a complete workout using the Norwegian Singles Approach to running, start to finish. I go through the entire warm-up, session intervals at sub-threshold pace, and cool down, explaining all of my thoughts and reasoning as I go. This approach favors sustainability over the more "boom and bust" nature of periodization and really shines over the long term. This training methodology has recently been popularized by James Copeland, with roots back to Marius Bakken (and likely beyond).
