Inician rehabilitación del Jardín Hidalgo de Fresnillo con nuevas áreas verdes e iluminación

Fresnillo, Zacatecas – Hidalgo Garden, located in downtown Fresnillo, will be rehabilitated as part of an urban improvement project spearheaded by the Municipal Government. The head of the Parks and Gardens Department, David Orlando Trinidad, reported that the work began at the mayor's direction, after the space suffered from garbage accumulation and vandalism. The project includes a new landscaping design with the planting of Forney-type ornamental plants, sod, and large trees, with the aim of restoring this iconic garden and providing a more attractive environment for residents and visitors. The official explained that they are also pruning dead plants and relocating others to the municipal nursery for regeneration and later use in other public spaces. He added that the Public Services Department will carry out additional painting work on posts and planters, as well as improving street lighting to enhance safety in the area. Finally, he called on the public to take care of the new green spaces and avoid acts of vandalism, in order to preserve the Hidalgo Garden in Fresnillo in good condition.
