I'm constantly practicing recording videos directly from the field. Bird calls are fun and quite easy. Just record a bird and you have footage. But what if there's no microphone? Not knowing the answer to this question, I took the camera and the P1000 on a walk with my kids along the Vistula River near Chełmno. I considered it an experiment. I wasn't even sure I'd collect enough footage for an episode. After all, it was a family walk, practically in the middle of a hot day. Few birdwatchers go birding in such conditions.
