How FAST Can Tyranitar Beat Pokémon Emerald?

As a Tyranitar connoisseur, I had to see why no one else played this spiky boy in an Emerald solo run. No switching; HM Pokémon are required. 2️⃣ Gen 3 has FOUR forced double battles. See the ROM changes below but if I can't skip them, I'll use an Abra in slot 2 only. 3️⃣ No items in battle (Potions, TMs, etc. allowed outside battle). 4️⃣ Double Team (TM32), Attract (TM45), and Toxic (TM06) are banned. Natural learning of these are allowed. These create (almost) universal strategies that are either stall based, luck based, or are generally boring to play or watch. 5️⃣ Pickup is banned. This means no building an army of Zigzagoons to get extra items. 6️⃣ Gameplay is at 3x speed and rankings are based on in-game time and resets. 7️⃣ Steven Stone is not a fight I am interested in. It isn't part of the official speedrun, therefore it holds no weight nor am I obligated to do it, unlike Red in generation 2. 🍕 Base ROM/QoL Changes: 🍕 1️⃣ HM users are guaranteed to spawn and catch. The idea is simulate the manips from the speedrun and to avoid wasting my time because I'd just restart if a Pokemon broke out of 6 balls anyway. 2️⃣ IVs, Hidden Power type, ability, and nature are chosen by me to allow for more consistent routing. 3️⃣ Spinner Logic Modified: Removed tedious mechanics to remove the need for using the bag trick 55 times a run. 4️⃣ Code added to turn 2 of the 4 double battles into single battles for more of a solo challenge.
