After this simple awakening, we must wash the dishes with spring water, plow the soil with a machine, water the flowers, take care of the animals, and collect fresh eggs from the chickens’ nest. There is no sign of comfortable city life here; everything is done through real effort. Interestingly, many people who watch our lifestyle say that our village looks a lot like the traditional, peaceful villages of America; the same simplicity, the same untouched nature, and the same life without luxury. Then it’s time to prepare the dough for traditional bread and make a fire; something that is a part of our everyday life. We make tea over the fire, churn butter, and cook with ingredients we gather directly from nature. We even mash avocado and lemon by hand to prepare a simple yet healthy meal. In the end, we fill the hot bread we baked ourselves with a layer of avocado and lemon mixture and the fresh eggs we collected that same day, creating a homemade rural-style burger—simple food, but filled with all the effort of life in this untouched mountain.
