GIRAFFE MANOR│OCTOBER 2021 │NAIROBI KENYA│FINCH HATTON SUITE & ARLENE ROOM

This was our 2 night stay at the famous Giraffe Manor, which is a property within The Safari Collection. We stayed in the Finch Hatton Suite and in the Arlene Room!! See two full room tours at the Giraffe Manor Garden Suite. We arrived just in time for tea the first day after a big delay in customs in Nairobi. We enjoyed a lovely dinner outside where everyone has their own personal fireplace to keep them warm. We woke up early for breakfast and got some great photos and enjoyed delicious food - you can order multiple meals! You can feed the giraffes at tea and breakfast. We set off to the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust and saw the one hour public visiting hour. At the public viewing one of the guys taking care of the elephants introduced every single elephant and explained the story behind every single resident elephant. The babies were so cute and you are able to adopt them at the end! We were required to get our temperate checked, wash our hands and wear a mask. We enjoyed the beautiful Orchid House for dinner, which is available to book with no additional charge. We toured the Giraffe Manor Retreat and it was BEAUTIFUL! If I were booking again - I would go before my flight home, make sure I was able to arrive at check-in time, only spend one night and then book The Retreat before my flight to relax and unwind before heading back. There is a spa, pool and gym for people to enjoy. Food and beverage have additional costs, but the facilities were just stunning. Look out for a separate video with that tour.
