So the levels change at the transition. Having said that, I do own the majority of the last 40 minutes worth of tunes on vinyl, with the exception of 3 dubplates, which I painstakingly rebuilt from radio / set rips then mixed like any other track. The thing that annoys me about mixing with mp3s is you don't know what EQs people have put the tune through before recording and encoding it. With vinyl, it's more standardised and you can tailor it to your own tastes through your own EQs, but at least you have a fairly consistent basis to work from. One day I'll invest in a Pioneer set up perhaps. First 22 minutes: Mixed on Technics 1210s with a Pioneer DJM-250 mixer, 2 x dual Gemini 15" speaker cabs, Numark amp for 750 watts of sound, RMS.
