Making a 9 Pin Joystick Cable (for Sega Genesis, Commodore 64, ColecoVision, Atari, etc.)

I've been rebuilding some old joysticks recently and ran across one with shorts in the cable. Since I had to take the ends off the cable to test it I figured it was about time to design my own 9 pin joystick cable jacks! Sorry for the blinking in the video... something happened in the upload processing that doesn't normally occur as the original doesn't have those harsh drops in the video on scene change. I'll keep an eye out for it in the future. These are FDM printed (see links below for GitHub and Thingiverse copies of the files) with a donor 9 pin connector from a DB9 solder on serial end. The solder DB9 connector isn't quite deep enough to make a proper joystick end, unfortunately, but it does connect up okay to my Sega Genesis in the video.
