After the Storm
http://www.mormonchannel.org/watch/se... Maylene has endured many storms in her life, but it was in the wake of the 2013 Moore, Oklahoma, tornado that she found the strength to truly rebuild her faith. The day of the tornado, Maylene was ready to give up on a life that had completely overwhelmed her. Her second husband had left her to raise their children alone and she was working three jobs to keep the family afloat. She felt helpless. But after surviving the tornado that day, Maylene knew that she and her family could make it through anything with God’s help. “My whole life, I’d felt abandoned. Like there were pieces missing. After the storm, God answered my prayers. He picked up the pieces and filled that void. I don’t ever have to feel like I’m going to be alone or abandoned again because He’s going to be there for me every step of the way.” Subscribe to Mormon Channel for the latest videos: http://bit.ly/1M0iPwY Download the Mormon Channel App iOS: http://bit.ly/1yGRgRU Android: http://bit.ly/1ukxbeC Follow The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on: Instagram: / churchofjesuschrist Facebook: / churchofjesuschrist X: https://x.com/ch_jesuschrist Web: https://www.churchofjesuschrist.org/?...
