Sony Xperia Z Ultra (2013) | Strange Phones | Sony's Largest Phone Ever | Phablet King

This is my strange phone's playlist video of what is considered to be the worlds first true phablet, the Sony Xperia Z Ultra. The Xperia Z Ultra was released in July of 2013 and was the much larger, slimmer and more expensive version of the legendary Sony Xperia Z. The Sony Xperia Z is widely considered to be the phone that single handedly revolutionized the water resistant smartphone, even though it wasn't the first water resistant smartphone or first water resistant phone at all. The Xperia Z Ultra is a huge phablet device that sports a full HD Sony Bravia 1080p display, a huge 3080mAh battery for its time, a metal body, a super slim design and a great Sony Camera. The Xperia Z Ultra is the first phone with a touchscreen capable of being used with standard pens and pencils. its also the largest phone that Sony ever built even to this day. Its massive size and amazing design made it stand out among other devices at the time. It also, more importantly was considered as the worlds first true phablet device. It was released a few months before the Nokia Lumia 1520 which is also a huge phablet device but still much smaller than the Z Ultra. The Xperia Z Ultra has a somewhat toned down 8mp camera as opposed to the 13mp camera on the Sony Xperia Z and lacks a flash as well. The camera is still very good though and this slight downgrade is cancelled out by the other upgrades such as a bigger battery, better Sony Bravia Display, aluminum body and sleeker design. It was also marketed as the worlds slimmest full HD smartphone when released and is easily one of the best reviewed phones of all time. They are somewhat rare and go for really high prices online when in good shape. Cheaper ones could be had with damaged displays and other issues. I got this one for a mere $34 with a passcode lock on it but Sony's are easily bypassed using the Sony Mobile Flash tool by Androxyde. I will be doing a full retro style review on the Sony Xperia Z Ultra, It will count as Xperia Z Ultra in 2023, Sony Xperia Z Ultra 2023, Xperia Z 2023, Xperia Z still good, Sony Xperia Camera, Sony Xperia display, Sony Xperia Z still good etc etc and I will also do a full Nostalgic Ringtones video on the Xperia Z ultra, so stay tuned by subscribing! These are considered rare phones or collectible phones and I am keeping them in my phone collection since they are considered as a vintage phones or retro phones. My collection also includes Nokia Prototypes, Blackberry Prototypes, Motorola Prototypes, Sony Ericsson prototypes, Sony Prototypes, HTC Prototypes, Rare Nokia and other rare developer devices! These phones are no Android 11 or Android 12 powerhouses and It also ain't no iPhone 15 Pro Max, Google Pixel 7, Google Pixel 7a, Lumia 950Xl, Lumia 1520, Lumia 1020, Google Pixel 7 Pro, Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra, Motorola Edge S or OnePlus 11 Pro but are definitely interesting phones on their own!
