I was tired of waiting for friends to travel, waiting for the right time to go, waiting for PTO to be approved. I decided to take my life into my own hands and do what I love. You see, solo travel is not just about the scenery and the videos you get to show off to everyone. So,o travel forces you to love yourself, to reflect on who you are as a person, and to learn to love yourself without the love of anyone else. It forces you to face every challenge thrown at you alone and to grow stronger for it. It also allows you to break out of your shell and meet people you otherwise never would have met. People who encourage you to face your fear, who are willing to lend a hand to a stranger, and who are willing to teach you things you didn't even know existed. Solo travel is somethign everyone should experience at least once in their life in order to learn skills and grow as a person which cannot be done any other way.
