Blessed Assurance Prelude for Piano Solo

This arrangement of the beloved American hymn "Blessed Assurance," was composed and performed by Dr. Norm Wick more of which is at psalm96music.com. The video was filmed on September 29, 2013 at Ridgewood Park United Methodist Church in Dallas, Texas by Mr. Andrew Wick. The hymn was penned in 1873 with lyrics by Fanny Crosby and music by Phoebe Knapp. The collaboration took place during Crosby's visit to the Knapp home in Brooklyn, and was one of many joint creative projects. Blessed Assurance appeared on the last page of the July issue of a religious magazine called "Palmer's Guide to Holiness and Revival Miscellany." The hymn has been an inspiration to millions of Christians since that time and has been printed in the hymnals of many denominations.
