Light meters get a bad rep sometimes for being an expensive paperweight. You might think you can get the exposure right in camera, and for the part, you can. But light meters will give you more precision, faster results and a 100% hit rate on film and cinematography. I've tried to show the little tips I've picked up along the way when using this more and more, which bad habits to avoid and how to get the most out of the little machine.
