Epic Adventure on the Nootka Trail – BC's Ultimate Coastal Backpacking Experience

August of 2021 we spent 4 nights hiking the 37km long Nootka Trail located off the west coast of Vancouver Island on Nootka Island. We flew in via float plane out of Gold River with Air Nootka to Starfish Lagoon. We camped two nights at Calvin Falls, one night at Beano Creek and our final night night at Sunrise Beach. We sailed back to Gold River out of Friendly Cove aboard the historic MV Uchuck III.
