Our Lake Hemet Getaway Didn't Go As Planned...

This trip didn't go exactly how we planned... Kiana, Taiko, and I headed to Lake Hemet hoping to catch some rainbow trout. We rented one of the lake's rental units and spent two days fishing around the lake using a variety of baits - lures, PowerBait, and Mice Tails. Despite putting in the time and trying different baits, the trout had other plans. But fishing trips aren't always about catching fish.
