Washington Metrorail 7000 Series Announcements - Red Line to Glenmont (2024)

This is the first of my upcoming batch of WMATA announcements. After seeing how popular my "WMATA (N) Train Announcements" video has gotten, it occurred to me that there aren't many high quality WMATA announcement clips out there. So with that in mind, I've decided that I may as well make more starting with the iconic Red Line. This was done using the Kate TTS voice. For the station announcements however, they were actually uploaded on a channel called the "Public Data Library," where you can mainly find San Francisco MUNI audios as well as a good couple of WMATA ones. I figured with those together, I can reconstruct the full 7000 Series announcements, so that's exactly what I did. (All images and other sources in this video belong to their respected owners (with the exception of the NoMa-Gallaudet one which was taken by yours truly). But with all that being said, I hope you guys approve of these announcement clips.
