We're beginning our trip through Romania, the country where I grew up. Here, I'll tell you and show you why traveling through Romania isn't as easy as it seems, and why finding a place where we want to live isn't as easy as it seems. We're traveling through the mountainous region of Transylvania, Romania. Interestingly, Romania has the largest bear reserve in all of Europe. Summer is when it's easiest to see bears. Therefore, if you're going to the mountains, you should take some precautions. Today, we're camping in the mountains of Transylvania.
