This excess tension overloads the elbow joint and the structures often affected are the UCL and the forearm flexors. This results in elbow pain on the inside or medial elbow. To help reduce the pain, we typically tape this region and we attempt to avoid the aggravation of this current injury by limiting the extension of the elbow.
