This is the earliest local train since the launch of Gapeka 2025 on February 1, 2025. This train runs from Malang Station to Surabaya Kota Station via Blitar, Kertosono. The train departs Malang Station at 3:40 a.m. WIB. This train is the longest local train, carrying eight upright economy class cars facing each other (106 seats). The ticket price from Malang to Blitar is IDR 12,000. The full trip from Malang to Surabaya is IDR 24,000. On the Malang-Blitar route, the train stops at Malang Kotalama, Pakisaji, Ngebruk, Kepanjen, Sumberpucung, Kesamben, Wlingi, Talun, and Garum stations. Because this train encountered long-distance trains from the west, it crossed paths frequently. This train yielded to the Majapahit 246 (Pasarsenen - Malang), Gajayana 36 (Gambir - Malang), and Malabar 68 (Bandung - Malang). At that time, this train was delayed in Blitar due to the delay of the long-distance train and the impact of the track blockage on the Pantura (North Coast) route (Gubug - Karangjati). So, the train, which was supposed to arrive at 5:57 a.m. WIB, actually arrived at 6:21 a.m. But it didn't matter, as long as PT KAI prioritized passenger safety, and the officers on duty apologized for the delay.
