Zeteo #297 - Denis Marquet : Que serait notre vie s'il n'y avait pas la mort ?

Denis Marquet, on the occasion of All Saints' Day 2024, offers a meditation on death, the death that stands in the way of all our lives. Death is mysterious, it is seemingly scandalous, it is a source of fear, but it is also and above all the gateway to eternal life. The desire for eternity is deeply rooted in every person. However, given our human condition, limited by suffering, a metamorphosis is necessary for this desire to be fulfilled. We experience death at different times in our lives and in different forms. The departures of those we love, but also the passing of time, separations, changes in our lives... For Denis Marquet, each death is always the occasion for a birth. The Way of Christ, dear to Denis Marquet, is a spiritual path that invites us to experience this metamorphosis now. Thanks to Denis Marquet, we are invited to meditate serenely on the meaning of our death, that of our loved ones, and all the events in our lives that contribute to preparing each of us for eternal life. Fulfillment, infinite love, peace, and joy truly await us... To read "Père," one of Denis Marquet's books: https://www.albin-michel.fr/pere-9782... Laurence welcomed us into her home just a few weeks ago. We recorded an episode with her that was very well received, moved many people, and received many wonderful reactions, as well as many messages from you. Laurence knew she didn't have much time left, which is why we waited only a few days after our first contact to record a meeting with her. We continued to communicate afterward. Laurence was deeply touched by the strong audience for her episode, and by the messages and even gifts she received from listeners. Laurence continued to suffer intensely. On nights of pain and sleeplessness, she gazed at the stars in the sky. And when the sky was too cloudy, she knew how to find them in her heart. Her last weeks were difficult and painful. Laurence, a radiant woman with such a mysterious life. It is rare to be so tested by so much suffering of all kinds, and violence in life, as she was. We pray for Laurence, that she has already regained the joy and great love with which she was already in touch. We have a special thought for her two children and for Stéphane, her husband, who admirably accompanied Laurence until she closed her eyes in his arms. Stéphane wrote to us that he felt a peace emanating from Laurence and within himself from the moment of her departure. Laurence passed away at this time of year when we are called to meditate more deeply on the meaning of death. We see, in this departure at this very special time of year, a sign of hope for her and for all of us. We would like to express our emotion, sadness, and gratitude at the same time, to have been able to meet Stéphane and Laurence. __________________ TO SUPPORT ZETEO'S PRODUCTION AND DISTRIBUTION EFFORTS WITH A DONATION Access to all our content is completely free.
