Make Noise Shared Ambient session

This week I went full ambient with the Make Noise shared system. This patch uses just the Make Noise Shared System, no editing, just a bit of post-audio work adding EQ and compression. All based on a Morphagene reel from a recording of me playing an old upright piano. Old pianos make great sample sources especially when they are slightly out of tune. The Erbe verb is last in the chain, set to behave like a Shimmer reverb roughly based on the settings mentioned in the manual. I am also using pressure points states to jump to 4 splice point locations in the Morphagene reel and adjusting the gene and slide parameters. Basically, the first pressure points channel is the spice where the melody is prominent and in focus, followed by 2 channels where it’s more textured, stretched, and pad-like, then the 4th channel is another melody in focus like the first channel, which I can trigger as an alternate. So I just hover between the 4 states and tweak some of there slide and gene size parameters as I go as well as the reverb tail. I also fade in and out a wobble bug to DPO synth sound that adds a bit of randomness and mimics some of the artifacts you sometimes hear in old ambient tracks. This has been a really fun patch and really shows the wide range of this amazing system.
