The new Parkside Performance D3 impact driver (2025) is here—and yes, it’s slower than the older version. But before you write it off, there’s a lot more going on. While I’ve been critical of Parkside in 2024–2025—and lost subscribers because of it—I actually agree with some of the decisions made here. Detuning a hobby-class tool may reduce failures, and removing the app should mean fewer bricked and returned units. Is it slower? Yes. Is it worse? Not necessarily.
