I Thought Obsession Was My Superpower (I Was Wrong)

You shall have no other gods before me. There's an idea out there that obsession is your superpower... that you should fully surrender to it. I believed that in my secular life. Now, coming back to the Catholic faith, I'm not so sure. This is me working through the difference between an obsession that points me toward God and one that quietly takes His place... using my own fitness and nutrition obsessions, my move from the North Carolina mountains to Florida, and the story of the golden calf.
