Clark & Kyla | Dandelions

Yet another Smallville edit coming your way – this time a ship that most of you might have forgotten about, but in the same flesh after viewing might find your heart rekindle the fire for it. Kyla was in sorts, the blueprint for Lois – hence my little attachment of her near the end. Kyla managed to show and teach Clark in a mere single episode that it was possible to find and fall in love with someone who accepted him as a whole, for every side of him. She set up his inevitable trust and belief that someone like Lois was possible. Such a shame that Kyla ended so soon and so tragic, I feel as though she deserved more time and development. Curse those early season one episode arcs. My love, Andrea, watched this episode for her first time with me a few days ago and immediately agreed how beautiful this ship was, how tragic it was to be cut so short, and how perfect and beautiful Kyla was as a person and for Clark. Not to mention the connection and respect to Native American culture was well done for a superhero and television property back in the early 2000's. So please, sit back and enjoy yet another phenomenal ship from my past with me.
