Small Looped Zonker Streamer - Rabbit strip streamer - McFly Angler Streamer Fly Tying Tutorial

I tied this fly a while back for you guys, and it's one of my favorite all around patterns for fishing a wide range of fish and rivers. However I recently got the Petejeans clip system from a subscriber, thank you so much Justin! Anyway, I found that this fly becomes quicker and easier when using these clips. It really helps getting the dubbing loop materials ready ahead of time and allows me to tie this fly in about 1/3 less time. That's a huge savings as I can tie 4 in the same time it took me to tie 3 before. As explained, you really want to use a stinger hook for these as it will insure you get the same shape of the fly. That large sculpin looking head, and small tapered off tail. The movement on this is incredible with all that soft rabbit fur, and you can tie these in about any color combo you can find. I like tying these in olive with an orange or yellow belly, black with a red belly, white with orange, chartreuse or red belly, the sky is the limit with color combos.
