Kent & East Sussex Railway: Bodiam 25th anniversary celebration | 5/04/25

The Kent & East Sussex Railway has come on leaps and bounds since the days of the line just serving Tenterden and a small section of line. As the line now looks forward to the future to where the extension to Robertsbridge should be completed by 2028, the Railway looked back to the past as to the day, 5th of April, 25 years ago: the Kent & East Sussex reached Bodiam. The day would be celebrated with a couple speeches at Bodiam station itself by key figures, a cake cutting ceremony and recreation of the original ribbion breaking ceremony at Bodium.
