Andy Cooney - Irish Wedding Song

Andy Cooney performs his hit The Irish Wedding Song at the Renaissance Center, Nashville, TN. This song was written by Australian writer Ian Betteridge. When I recorded it in 1986 with The Paddy Noonan Band, we did not know who the writer of the song was. Eventually, Ian Betteridge and Rego Irish Records in New York connected. It was recorded by a few Irish artists before me. We Irish and Irish Americans took such a liking to it that we claim it as our official "Irish" Wedding Song....
