Kirroughtree Mountain Bike Centre Scotland - The Highlights

I managed to squeeze a lap of Kirroughtree in on my way back from filming in Glasgow. I rode both the red and black route which totalled about 19 miles. As mountain bike centres go, this is pretty unique. It has all the characteristics you would expect from one of the 7 Staines but with a unique feature; namely McMoab. Imagine Moab in the USA but with a Scottish twist. This strange rock section is both challenging and fun finishing with a big drop on to the fireroad. Like most UK trail centres, it drains very well and is easy to navigate. If you can be bothered to drive that far West, it is well worth the journey.
