Los Brecitos, Rio Taburiente, Cascada Colores und durch den Barranco de las Angustias(2020, 4k)

The starting point of this tour through the heart of La Palma is the parking lot below in the Barranco de las Angustias. From there we take a taxi up to the starting point of the hike at Mirador Los Brecitos. On the LP 13 it then goes through the pine forest on the slope of the Caldera Taburiente over several barrancos, the Casa de Tenerra and on to the Mirador del Lomo de Tagasate. After the Mula o de la Faya spring to the nine giant pines then on to the Rio Taburiente in the green basin of the caldera. From there to the service center and then into the barranco of the Rio Almendro Amargo to the confluence of the Rio Rivanceros with a view of the Momument Idafe (sanctuary of the natives). Continue to the magnificent ocher colors of the Cascada de los Colores and back again with a detour to the small waterfall of the Rio Almendro Amargo. Then through the Barranco Almendro Amargo to the confluence of the Rio Taburiente at the Dos Aguas waterworks and further through the gorge into the Barranco de las Angustias with its steep walls, small waterfall, layers of rock from the history of La Palma and pillow lava that arose in the sea.
