Alfa Romeo 33 and Sud Sprint Race Cars

The Boxer engine, also known as a flat-four or horizontally opposed engine, is known for its distinctive, low rumble sound. This is due to the engine's unique design, where the cylinders are arranged in two banks opposing each other and flat on either side of the crankshaft. The sound is often described as deep and smooth, with a consistent rhythm and a low pitch. Some car enthusiasts consider the Boxer engine's sound to be one of its most appealing features. The Boxer engine is most commonly associated with Porsche and Subaru, but was also used and produced by Alfa Romeo. Porsche has been using the Boxer engine in many of its sports cars for decades, while Subaru has been using it as their standard powerplant for many of its cars.
