Beet the Heat

Today we take a look at how everything in the garden is getting on, and we pull up and pickle our beets! here is the recipe I used, I don't measure a thing, I go by taste! 2 parts water 1 part white OR cider vinegar fresh garlic fresh or dried dill red pepper ground mustard seed coriander sugar black pepperco an even simpler way to pickle eggs or cucumbers: 2 parts water 1 part vinegar 1 packet dry Italian seasoning mix
