Quando posso pisar no chão após cirurgia de tíbia e fíbula?
Rehabilitation of the lower limbs (LLLL) is a constant in the clinical practice of Physiotherapy. In this rehabilitation process, weight discharge in LLLl is essential for patient recovery. However, in some clinical conditions, excessive load on the lower limb is not safe and may compromise healing or lead to new injuries. In such cases, partial weight discharge (PPD) is advisable. Despite the functional importance and applicability in the patient recovery process, PPD is not easily attainable. Walking aid devices (DAM) such as walking sticks, crutches and walkers are often recommended in these cases. There are different techniques used by the therapist in order to train the patient for a given PPD in the orthostatic position and during gait. These techniques include verbal instruction, clinical examination and the use of instruments such as: bathroom scales, biofeedback systems and power platforms. When treating the individual who has undergone surgical fixation of a fracture acute, the therapeutic principles in the initial phase focus on recovery in relation to trauma from the original lesion and trauma from surgery. The principles are the same to treat sprains, sprains and soft tissue contusions, also addressing post-fracture and postoperative pain When choosing exercises, the therapist should also take into account the effects of the magnitude and direction of loads on the fracture site. Fracture stability and fixation guide the choice of exercises, and this information should be obtained from the medical records or from the doctor. Hydrotherapy, aquatic physiotherapy that can be defined as the use of an aquatic environment to achieve physiotherapeutic objectives, is of great importance in recovery (HALL; BRODY, 2001). For the patient to develop early discharge and consequent ambulation, it should be stimulated through physical therapy activities as soon as possible. The literature itself can prove that the shorter the time of initiation of physical therapy, the longer and faster your rehabilitation will be. #fisioterapia #fratura #reabilitação Dr. Herberton Araújo Professional curriculum: http://lattes.cnpq.br/7690945252062511 Instagram: / fisiorunnerbrasil To contact us visit our website or send an email Website: www.fisiorunnerbrasil.com.br e-mail: [email protected]
