Looking for gold on the Yuba

Headed back up to the Yuba River—right to one of the original spots where our intro all started. Always something special about coming back to the ground that kicked it off. This time around, I spent some time on the metal detector chasing signals while Ray worked the water, putting in the time panning. Ended up pulling a few small pieces with the detector—nothing huge, but enough to keep things interesting and remind you why we keep coming back. Some days it’s not about the size of the gold, it’s about the place, the grind, and the history under your feet. More to come from this stretch of river.
