Giannis Spanos, in 1959 travels to France. There he distinguished himself as a pianist, an accompanist in the bars of Paris. He will soon become a well-known composer. In the early 60's, he returns to Greece from the Parisian music venues and the glamorous collaborations. Gifted with a particularly characteristic personal stigma, from 1965 to the 90's, he writes countless pieces, mediocre in musical events and gives a European air to Greek songwriting, paving the way for the "New Wave". For six decades, his synthetic activity has covered all areas of music: theater, cinema, radio and television. He composes many Greek lyricists. Remarkable, the three Anthologies of the composer that "marked" and defined the "New Wave" in compositions of poems by important Greek poets. His timeless successes are interpreted by artists who collaborated with him for years. Specifically, Gerasimos Andreatos, Doros Demosthenous and Eleana Papaioannou. In our beautiful company, the niece of the great composer, Sofia Magkafa, who "illuminates" personal and artistic moments of the creator, the great Giannis Zouganelis, companion of Giannis Spanos with whom he was connected by family friendships. The torrent of multifaceted artist, very expressively, tells us anecdotal stories with his beloved friend.
