On May 23, 2026, the 18th Pentecost Vigil was held at St. Andrew's Church in Osaka (on the grounds of Momoyama Gakuin), a church of the Anglican Church in Japan. The sermon was delivered during the prayer of the service. The service was concelebrated by Bishop Satoshi Kobayashi (Anglican Church in Japan), with Pastor Nozomu Uchida (Anglican Church in Japan), Pastor Takaaki Inoue (United Church of Christ in Japan), Pastor Hayato Higashiyama (United Church of Christ in Japan), Pastor Joji Oshiba (Japan Evangelical Lutheran Church), Pastor Daichi Takeda (United Church of Christ in Japan), and Father Paolo Suc (St. Xavier Mission). The background music was Anglican hymn number 386, "The Holy Spirit Descends," which was sung at the venue that day.
