Unveiling The Korg Wavestate SE Synthesizer: The Ultimate Musician's Tool

The wavestate, a wave sequencing synth from KORG, has just been introduced in a 61-key SE version. For those with a more discerning eye, it will also be available in a limited-edition Platinum finish. Being a keyboardist myself, finding that the wavestate will come with a 61-note model grabbed my interest right away since it would allow me to explore a full-size keyboard and perform more dynamically than the 25-key predecessor. Wow, does it play well; keyboardists will really like this synth because of its Made-in-Japan natural-touch keybed with after-touch and other features like a traditional mod and pitch bend wheel housed on the left-hand side. It's wonderful to see Korg listening to feedback and implementing some fantastic new features that truly unleashes the full potential of the Wavestate.
