Burleywhag Bothy (July '22)
A trip to Burleywhag with Llama Annie. It's a canny old hike but what a stunner of a valley! The track disappears a half mile before the bothy and you've gotta plodge through the 'Burley Bog' to get there but it was worth the wet smelly feet. A lovely bothy (used by local shepherds so best to check it's open for use before you go) in a beautifully rural location. Even caught a few hours of summer before the rain started later on and the clag descended..... Tents Used: Llama Annie - OEX 'Bobcat 1' DVS - Kuiu 'Mountain Star 2P'
