When two people who were never supposed to meet exchange sketchbooks by mistake, the only thing keeping them connected is the sound of a bell. Gregory always loved painting. Back when he was a child, he would cover the whole house in paintings... until one morning he finds a sketchbook under the Christmas tree. 15 years later, stuck in the past and surrounded by darkness, the sketchbook is all he has left of his art, so he holds onto it. Until a mysterious girl, represented by a bell, appears, and they end up swapping sketchbooks by mistake. Gregory follows the sound of the bell through the darkness, and keeps calling after her, but for some reason, she doesn't answer. Determined to retrieve his sketchbook, Gregory embarks on a journey.
