Strenuous rescue operations by helicopter, aerial shot (Day following the earthquake)　　The Japanese text is followed by an English translation. 津波による水害で孤立した住民を警察がヘリで救助、その一部始終を捉えた映像(震災翌日 : 午前11時ごろ) 福島沿岸部、相馬市付近の上空にて取材中のヘリが撮影。 海岸から1km程度離れた内陸部の田園地帯。 津波がここまで押し寄せたのか、広い範囲の地域が水没し湖のようになっており、取材陣は、そこにポツンと取り残された数棟の家屋を発見。2階に住民の姿も確認でき、助けを求めている様子。 家屋の周囲は水で覆われ、完全に孤立し、中の住民が脱出することは困難に見受けられた。 するとそこへ、幸運にも警察のヘリが現れた。孤立した住民らを発見したのか、ギリギリまで高度を下げ、家屋に近づく。 家屋上空でホバリングするヘリから、レスキュー隊員がロープを使い、2階ベランダに降下。 中にいた要救助者と会話したあと、まず1人の住民にロープをつけ、そのままヘリにつり上げさせた。 ゆっくり引き上げられるロープは、風にあおられ、回ったり、緊迫した状況となるが、無事に1人目の住民を収容。 その後、いったん警察ヘリは現場を離れたが、再びこの家屋を訪れ、もう1人の住民を救出することに成功した。 [ヘリからの機上レポートは、フジテレビ 島田彩夏 アナウンサー] Footage: Capture of police helicopter rescuing civilians isolated by the flood, from beginning to end. (Day after earthquake, around 11 a.m.) Footage is recorded from a helicopter on duty off the coast of Fukushima, near Soma city. A rural inland area 1km from the coast. Had the tsunami reached all the way up here? A vast area has submerged, resembling a lake. Reporters discover two houses left behind. Residents are waiting for help upstairs on the second floor. The houses are surrounded by water, completely isolated and rescuing those inside seems difficult. Fortunately, a police helicopter appears, discovers the residents and draws closer to them, lowering altitude to get closer to the house. Hovering in air above the house, rescue troops use a rope to ascend to the 2nd floor balcony. After a short conversation with the resident, the troop member ties a rope around her and signals the helicopter to hoist up. The rope is slowly pulled up, while being fanned by strong winds, circling in air. Despite the tense situation, the first resident is rescued safely. The helicopter leaves the scene after this, but returns back to this home again to recue the other resident.
