His First Packrafting Trip Was Deep In Montana's Bob Marshall Wilderness!

The Bob Marshall Wilderness is famous for its wild rivers, and on this three-day adventure my friend Chris and I set out to explore two of them. Day one took us down the South Fork Sun River on Chris's first real packrafting trip. After hiking back upriver and setting up camp, I spent day two exploring the West Fork South Fork Sun River before floating back to camp. Along the way we encountered beautiful wilderness scenery, a few rapids worth scouting, rare wildlife, and even an unexpected trail encounter on the hike out.
