SARS-CoV-2 mecanismo de acceso a la célula.

I've attempted to comment on Janet Iwasa's magnificent animation, which accurately describes the sequence of events that lead SARS-CoV-2 to enter cells. The fusion process of the viral and cellular membranes involves the action of proteases to cleave the two subunits of the spike protein. Unfortunately, this cleavage can be carried out by either type 2 transmembrane serine protease or furin protease, which are expressed in the cells of most tissues. This ease of cleavage makes SARS-CoV-2 a very dangerous animal.
